HOUSE DT - new-build single-family home

 

On an undeveloped plot of land in the Asbeek fields, surrounded by stud farms, an atypical house was built.

 

Tile roofing, reclaimed brick, wooden joinery and a concrete plinth create a familiar mix in this house, transformed into a timeless, serene architecture that sits peacefully within its surroundings.

 

The living areas are located on the first floor, bringing the spacious surroundings into the home. The bedrooms are partially underground, keeping them cooler, although the daylight openings are located on the south side.
